Well at least that answers a few questions – presumably this is also why your 6 week max rule isnt in play (my book is still not listed on Amazon over 6 weeks since publication as are others according to some of the posts).

I’ve just been to visit WH Smith’s and got them to check their ordering system to see if my book was listed via Bertrams. It was, but the lead time stated 4 weeks. Is this also related to the Lightning source issue and will this also be resolved?

Hi Guys,

Yeah this is all due to the feeds. I’ve been in touch with both LS and Nielsen recently about the issue and it seems under control now.

I’m going to phone again today to ensure all records are up to date and feeds are pushed out as soon as possible.

I’m really sorry for the disruption, it has been quite frustrating for us. Fingers crossed it will be service as usual from now!

Hope you are well. My listing on Amazon etc still says it ‘s ’out of stock’ after a few weeks. It’s putting people off buying etc as they have told me. Also the description etc isn’t there? Just wondering what the latest was mate?

My book is showing as out of stock still on Amazon, it’s been like it for at least 3 weeks now… just wondering when it’s going to be available?

Hi Jo,

Just had a look and it looks like your book isn’t quite ready for amazon distribution as the distribution price isn’t set. Set the price in the book creator and go through to confirm your changes. If you can do that today I’ll make sure it goes out to the ISBN database and distributors tomorrow. It can still take a little while for amazon to take a feed from them but it will go live pretty soon.

The price is there already, when I press save and continue it wants me to go through the whole publishing process again… I am slightly confused what I need to do!

Hmmm not impressed, for some reason even though the price has been there all along I’ve just had to go through the whole publishing process again and using a credit so it would accept the price… It’s there now, and I assume that with my plan I still get Amazon Marketplace distribution?
