I noticed that my novel that I have published here is available through other sellers on amazon – the book depository, aphrohead books and super book deals, where are they getting copies of my book from, is it directly from completely novel and do I still get the royalties? I haven’t had any notifications of sales through them, but then I don’t know if they’ve sold any copies yet. I e-mailed superbookdeals but received no response as yet. Would appreciate a response from any CN admin or anyone who has had the same experience.
Hi Michelle,
If you are a PRO plan user then your book is available through trade distribution channels to a large number of retailers. Effectively, the retailers you have listed can now buy your book direct from the printers and sell it on to customers who order it, in the same way that Waterstones and other more well-known retailers can. You still get the royalties from the sale listed on the Price page within the Book Creator for your book.
This question and answer give more details on how distribution works and may be helpful with regards to how the payments are made to you as well.

BB,
Thank you so much for your reply, when I signed up for the PRO plan, I didn’t realise that the book would be distributed through other booksellers without any input from myself, it would have been good to have had some mention to me or notification to me that my book was available through other sellers? Thank you for the link, it was helpful and has cleared up my confusion.
Michelle
