Publishing Hub: Is the manuscript converter down?

    Hello,

    I can’t seem to convert my word doc to pdf.
    It was working fine last week, today all I get is In the queue for conversion.

    Anyone able to help?

      Sadly I’m getting the exact same problem- apparently all that needs to happen is for someone to upload a doc with the wrong settings (or one that contains macros, I believe) and it screws it up for everyone else. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon…

      I was able to upload and convert an amended doc successfully early this morning (Daniel- maybe worth trying again?). Haven’t tried again since but worth a go…

      hmm, it’s no longer stuck in a queue, now I get

      “We were unable to convert your document to a printable format automatically. Please ensure your document is well formatted to our guidelines or request a manual conversion.”

      The doc is literally the same as previous versions bar one or two small changes, so I’m assuming it’s still the conversion process at fault.

      Confirmation from CN when it’s working properly would help.

      Hi,

      I’m having the same problem :-( Again, the same MS with just some minor tweeks and it won’t even attempt to convert it.
