Sorry about the delay in replying - had a nightmare with changing all my passwords for all the sites I access. Long (and painful!) story.... ANYway... Authonomy. Well, I'm in two minds about it myself. On the one hand, it was a great place to get feedback on your work but also to discover great work by others (there was some stuff on there that I would dearly love to go down to the shops and buy!). BUT...they did seem to have built up a culture of 'I backed your book so you back mine'. In the end, the rating system did get kind of pointless. They have overhauled the way the ratings work to try and stamp out the blind reciprocal rating as people were getting very fed up with it - I haven't been back on to see if it's worked. Overall, I'd definitely say give it a go. I plan on going back on there when I've got enough of my next book written - just to see if it's any better than before. If not, you can always leave. No point in NOT trying something..! Hope that's helped and not been too rambly! BTW, thanks for reading Assassin's Wedding. Hope you continue to enjoy it! cheers Wilf (more)
